This piece is a study of one of the most unique Australian native bees. Unlike most  native bees, Stingless bees are social and they produce honey. Although they all look similar in their simple black or dark brown design, a closer look reveals dense white fur on the sides of their thorax and their faces. Another peculiarity of this species is that they are only found in warm areas in northern and eastern Australia.
